Photo Prints

Look everyone! I got prints in the mail! It's always so exciting to see my images in print-form!

Since I don't own my own professional printer, and 1-hour photo at Walmart just doesn't cut it, I decided to get my prints taken care of through I Print From Home. I ordered them with a matte finish, and they look awesome. They also deliver really quickly, within three days, for only $3. I haven't been able to send them out to any customers yet, but here's to hoping!

Perhaps you can offer me some advice. I've been thinking about lowering the prices in my Etsy shop, to hopefully encourage more sales. However, I don't want to undercharge for my art, because I put a lot of time and effort into each one. Would you take a quick look at my shop, and let me know if you think my prices are too high, just right, or too low? Honest feedback is greatly appreciated!

What would you be willing to pay for a piece of fine-art-photography? Or is it something you don't really buy in general? Perhaps I should expand into bookmarks, magnets, or greeting cards?

  1. I'll have to check out iPrint... I'm making one of those huge inspiration boards and want  to print some photos of flowers that I took! I don't think your 8x12 prices are too high; they seem reasonable. However, you could try lowering the 5x7 and 4x6 by a couple dollars because then maybe those who can't afford larger prints will want to get a little something. Just a thought! I don't usually order photo prints off Etsy, though I  LOVE so many art shops because I don't have money :( I would if I could!

  2. I took your advice!  Thank you!

I know what you mean.  I can't afford to buy anything too frivolous in general, so I've only bought one item from Etsy since I've been a member!

  4. Your images are beautiful! I would love them in magnets and bookmarks as well. Maybe 5-packs of greeting cards would be nice too!
