Hey there! The last few weeks I've been really busy with school, and my blogging has really been sparse. But I'm back with another Handmade Stuff feature! This time I'm featuring some unique jewelry from some creative Etsy artists. Enjoy!

If you haven't heard of White Owl's stunning and delicate lace jewelry yet, the time is now. The way they use each piece of lace is so creative! You MUST check out their shop, I wanted to add every single one of their pieces to my favorites.
{TWO}
There are three things I love about this bracelet: the combination of gold and jade green, the combining of different textures, and the tiny bell - which probably sounds like a fairy has come to play every time you move your arm. For an Etsy shop, BrassLady has A TON, and I mean A LOT, of items up for sale. And to put the cherry on top, everything is priced really well.

I find this necklace rather unique. It is a chevron shape, but unlike most other chevron necklaces out there, which are very straight-edged and geometric, FriedaSophie's is made of natural-looking, rough-edged beads. Plus, the colors are amazing.

If you're like me, you often find yourself in need of a small incognito mirror while out and about, at school or work, because you swear there's something in your eye that you can't find, or you need to touch up your lipstick. This little pocket mirror does the trick, AND it's cute. Depeapa also makes unique geometric jewelry, painted tote bags, and some folksy art prints.

There are many things to love about this clock. First and foremost, there's a tiny little glass vase built in! You can wake up everyday to wildflowers on your side table! The minimal design and natural wood finish are also pretty neat. Namuwana is pretty new to the Etsy world, so pay them a visit!

These rain earrings are just so cute! You should definitely take a look at JooJooland's shop, it's full of elegant, beautifully made jewelry, and they're photographed so well too!
{FOUR} Leah Goren's shop is truly a gem. She not only creates these original collage kits, eliminating all the tedious cutting, pasting, and searching for good paper scraps, but she also makes printed scarves, head wraps, art prints, and watercolor cards! I want her to add more items so I can add them all to my favorites!

Scarves. They come in a million different prints and colors, they add life to any outfit, and they keep you toasty on cold days. They're the must-have accessory that will never go out of style, hopefully. I just love scarves, and I own probably too many.
{TWO}
These cards. I was browsing through a bin of sale-priced stationery at Marshalls when I came across this boxed set of cards. I recognized the art immediately as the work of Etsy artist Katie Daisy. Her shop is on vacation at the moment, but you can see some of her work on her facebook page.
{THREE}
These new clothes. I bought these items at Buffalo Exchange, which specializes in vintage and lightly-used clothing, but all the garments I bought appeared to be brand new! Got some pretty good deals for clothing that is good quality and normally costs more than I prefer to pay.
I am currently loving Madewell's spring collection. It's a perfect mix of comfy neutrals and lively brights. Three things I'm loving about these looks:
(1) Colored flats
(2) All of these items are wardrobe staples
(3) Casual and easy without being boring
Instead of going to bed at a decent hour, I started listening to the sweet, jazzy voice of Nikki Yanofsky, and as I hummed along, I started thinking of Paris. As naturally follows such ponderings, I constructed playlist of french-themed songs for your listening pleasure, which you should listen to while you read the rest of this post! You won't regret it.
Today I'm going to talk about some of my favorite films, that is, my top four absolute favorite french or french-themed movies. Not only are they my favorite french films, they are some of my favorite films of all time.
This playlist will get you into the french mood:
{ONE} Paris, Je T'aime. This means: Paris, I love you, in French. To summarize, it is a collaborative work of many directors, who each created a short segment about love, in one of the most romantic cities in the world: Paris. However, not all of the shorts deal with romantic love; They branch into all sorts and types of love. It is such a beautiful film! Every time I watch it, I have a moment of pure peace and contentedness as the closing credits roll. It is a must-watch. If you see it for no other reason, see it because Natalie Portman and Elijah Wood are in it.
{TWO} Amélie, or the full title: Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain. The words I can use to describe this movie are: magical and quirky. Amelie has the most endearing personality, and her development from a timid girl to a brave woman ends up inspiring me to be more spontaneous and confident every single time I watch it. On top of the fantastic story line, every single camera shot is like a work of art, if you pause the film at any given moment, at any point in the film, you will have before you a perfectly composed and colored still image. The makers of this film used three dominant colors, next time/when you watch it, notice the colors (HINT: They're in the movie poster).
{THREE} French Kiss. I know what you're thinking. You're probably thinking that this movie poster looks old and lame. But I'm here to tell you: This movie is fantastic! Yes, it is a romantic comedy, and yes, it stars Meg Ryan, but the simple fact that something might be considered cliche doesn't automatically negate its merit! Take my word for it, and give this movie a shot. It's funny, it's charming, Meg Ryan is a goofball, and Kevin Kline makes a very entertaining pessimistic french man.
{FOUR} Midnight in Paris. By now, you've probably all heard something about this movie. It's been receiving a ton of attention lately, and for good reasons. I enjoyed watching this film immensely, because it's not your typical "go-back-in-time" flick. It's a smart and funny look into the past. It gives life to artists and writers that I had only read about in school. It sheds new light on an era that can seem so boring on paper. See it!
